Choose the Right Grade of Memory for Your Custom Printed Flash DrivesMatching the right style of custom printed flash drive to your particular campaign is a really fun part of the process. However, don’t forget that the grade of flash memory is also important!

Most people are unaware that there are grades of flash. There are, however, four grades of flash memory: Grade A, Grade B, Grade C. A quick run-through over the memory grades should help guide you in choosing the best flash memory for your purposes.

Grade A Flash Memory

The best in flash technology there is. Chip-sets of this kind are made by the leading companies in flash technology, such as Samsung, Toshiba, and Intel. The memory grade is most commonly found in high quality smartphones, mobile devices, and, of course, USB storage. Since these chip-sets are high-quality products, they have no generic or recycled parts, are ensured with lifetime warranty, and perform at high speeds. They are best suited for buyers looking for reliability, longevity, and speed in their flash drives.

Grade B Flash Memory

Grade B flash is a downgrade from grade A, but its chip-sets still perform well. The chip-sets from this grade are produced by a minor manufacturer, so they are built with some generic or recycled parts. Speed performance is lower than grade A. However, as a result of reasonable pricing and decent performance, they serve marketing purposes well, when they are used as promotional items.

Grade C Flash Memory

The last grade is C. These chip-sets are manufactured with all-recycled and/or generic parts. They have no warranty and are, in reality, a risky investment. They are only recommended for those willing to take the risk because of a very restrictive budget. Last is counterfeit flash memory, something to avoid as much as possible. Counterfeit flash is often advertised as having a larger storage capacity that it can hold. Buyers are duped into buying this type of memory in the form of bargain deals. The best way to avoid counterfeit is to buy from reputable sources.
