I was recently at a family gathering talking with several of my cousins and nephews and somehow the topic of school came up. Now I remember my elementary through high school years fairly well, but their experiences that they were describing were nowhere close to the experiences that I had. I remember learning cursive, doing math without calculators, and having to hand write everything from notes to assignments. My cousins and nephews, who are much younger than I am, were talking about typing on keyboards and using USB flash drives to carry their assignments instead of folders.
